Adam was a founding member of CIPR’s Channel Islands Group in 2009 and Chair from 2013-2017. His commitment towards driving professionalism contributed towards the Channel Islands having the highest proportion of Chartered members of any regional group. Part of Adam’s legacy to the region is the Channel Islands PR Forum, a key local event for the local PR community.

Wendy Moran FCIPR, Dip CIPR

A staunch advocate of PR in the public sector, Wendy has been actively involved with CIPR’s Local Public Services Group (and its previous incarnations) since 2005. Now an academic, Wendy has been instrumental in creating courses and programmes to support the professionalisation of public sector PR practitioners. As Chair of the LPS, Wendy launched a national listening campaign to identify the needs of CIPR members in the public sector which led to the ‘Influence for Impact’ report which was launched in 2015.

Steve Shepperson-Smith Chart.PR, FCIPR, Dip CIPR

A founding member of, and first Treasurer for, the CIPR’s Channel Islands Group, Steve has been actively involved with the CIPR since 2009. He organised the first Digital Corporate Communications event for the Corporate and Financial Group in 2011, has been on the Greater London Group committee since 2015 and was elected to Council for the 2017-2019 term. Steve joined CIPR’s Professional Practices Committee in 2016 and led the creation of the Ethical Decision Tree for practitioners. He is also leading a Task Group updating CIPR’s technical standards.

Jenni Field FCIPR

Jenni joined the CIPR Inside Committee in 2012, holding Treasurer and Secretary positions before becoming Chair. Under Jenni’s guidance, the Group has gone from strength to strength, with record numbers of entries submitted for the Inside Awards. Jenni has been a Council member since 2015 and serves on the Professional Development and Membership Committee, where she worked on CIPRNet, the new, online volunteer platform. Jenni also led the Member Journey Mapping task group which is shaping the development of products and services for the membership.

Donald Steel FCIPR

Donald’s valuable contribution during his time on CIPR’s Professional Practices Committee led to a presentation to Council on whistleblowing, a roundtable discussion on ethics and the development of CIPR’s diversity programme. He champions higher professional standards through lectures to students and has delivered courses and lectures on crisis communications for the Middle East PR Association and Singapore Institute of PR.
